Surgeon: Dr. Jack P. Gunter

History: This patient had two previous surgeries which were complicated by a staph infection following the second surgery. This left a depressed scar on the left side and severe breathing problems with constant draining.

Front View: This view shows the improvement of the tip with less “bulbousity” and width. The scar on the tip is still present and will be later treated with dermabrasion (sanding) if the patient desires.

Side View: In this view, the tip has been smoothed and a rib cartilage graft has been placed in the column between the nostrils. The graft increased tip projection and brought the upper part of the lip forward, which improved the aesthetic appearance.

Angle View: The tip is much narrower and the scar of the tip can still be seen but is improved.
