This very thin and athletic 30 year old woman was bothered by skin laxity and the bulge in her lower abdomen (which was caused by having 2 children, and did not improve with abdominal exercises.) We decided on an abdominoplasty with a low scar placement due to her preference for low cut clothing. On the side view, you can easily see the changes afforded by the muscular tightening component of the tummy tuck. On frontal view, one can see how we removed the lower abdominal skin which had been affected by stretch marks, and the overall improvement in skin tone.
