Surgery and Recovery
After identifying the patient’s complications and desired goals for revision surgery, Dr. Marin creates a surgical plan. Depending on the needs of the patient, it may be necessary to replace the implants or permanently remove the implants altogether. When removing saline implants, Dr. Marin first deflates and removes the implants, and then removes existing scar tissue from the previous breast augmentation procedure. If desired, the new implants will then be placed. Dr. Marin works carefully to ensure that the breasts are natural looking and symmetrical.
